Holy Boot Camps Brain Cramps, Batman

I just set up my training (IT Training) schedule for the rest of the fiscal year.  It’s gonna be a tough one.  My brain is going to be exhausted by the end of summer.  But at least I’ll be a Cert-a-Fried SupaGeek™.

I’m studying for the Network+ certification exam that I want to pass within 2-3 weeks.

I have a CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) BootCamp in Chicago May 23-27, so I should have my CCNA certification by the late-May/early-June.  The Network+ certification will help me prep for this.

THEN I have a a Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) BootCamp June 12-20.  That one’s gonna be tough… not only are Microsoft exams tough, the BootCamp runs a minimum of 12 hours a day for 9 days.  However, if all goes well, I should walk away with 3 more certifications from there… Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), Security+ (to show I’m a security wienie, not just vendor specific), and MSCA: Security.

AND…. ITT is offering a new class for my degree – Linux Server Administration – so I get to audit that for free (ITT Rocks).  Every Tuesday night in Green Bay from June 14-August 30.

As I was turning in my last request for training, The Boss asked me if I was trying to push the training through so quickly because he may or may not be leaving. LOL.  I had to explain that it was all planned but I was just waiting for the snow to melt before I started traveling.
