Moooove! Cows Crossing.
See… I really do live in Dairyland, USA.
The first time I saw this sign was when I was 16ish. I was visiting Bonnie and decided to take the back roads to go see Jeanne… that’s when I spotted this beaut. I laughed for the next 5 minutes and never forgot about it.
About 3 years ago I went looking for the sign so I could take a picture and send it to someone that lives in California because he was looking for deer crossing signs but it was gone. Perhaps the victim of a snowplow.
Anyway, a few days ago I told someone that lives in DC about the sign after I made a joke about “cow tipping”. This morning I decided drive out at lunch to check if the sign was there and much to my giggling delight, it was!
First Big Snow Storm

I’m so not ready for this. Enough said.
Dirt-ay Dirt-ay
Over the past week or so I’ve been having problems with the temperamental light switch in my bathroom. First, I had problems getting the light to turn on for a few days. I would have to wiggle the switch to get the light to turn on. Over the weekend the switch decided to change its behavior… once the light was on, it didn’t want to shut off. Finally on Sunday it decided to play stubborn and wouldn’t shut off at all.
So yesterday at work I finally remembered to ask
Bonnie if BigBro (aka - LilBro, our brother & her resident fixer upper) could stop by and replace the switch for me. I stopped by her house to remind her to mention it to him and stayed to visit for a while. In the meantime, BigBro ended up getting home. When he walked in the house about all we could do was laugh. He was SO dirty that his skin matched his hair!
After he got cleaned up he came by and fixed my light switch for me. Afterward we were hangin’ out & laughing about how dirty he was. I dubbed him my knight in not-so-shiney armor.

Last night on our way home from Wal-mart Adam & I stopped at Taco Bell to grab a quick bite. I placed my usual order & the DriveThruDude says “You can save like 50 cents if I give you a kids meal and just upgrade your drink.” I was like KICK ASS! When we got home Adam asked me what the toy was & I replied, “A pen.” (woohoo?)
This morning I found it that it’s actually a crayon. Yay! The yellow feet come off and the crayon is revealed. I just had to bring it to work to keep on my desk at the school. Oh yeah! The back has wheels so I can drive it around my desk! I ::heart:: toys.
