…No longer being embarrassed about driving a Rusty Bucket when I have a pretty decent income
…Not having to drive 25mph because we got 1/2” of snow

I need to get myself a plant.  I found the coolest Twitter App via Twitter Blog… Botanicalls.  What’s it do? It makes your plants talk! It’ll send a twitter to let you know when your plants need to be watered. Isn’t that the coolest thing?!  I realize my geeky-ness is hanging out an abnormal level with this but I can’t help it. I’ve been wanting to get a few plants for the house anyway.  Now that I can do something geeky with them, I’m so picking a couple up next week.

I started in IT nearly 10 years ago, actually working in the same job I’m in now.  I stayed for over 3 years but ended up leaving because got frustrated because I wasn’t getting moved out of entry-level. A year ago when I applied for the job again I had serious reservations about it because, well, it was an entry-level position and I’m far beyond entry-level.  But because I wanted to work for my employer - basically wanted back in the department - I took the job and prayed that I wouldn’t get stuck at entry-level forever.

Let me tell you… I’m getting pretty frickin’ fabulous! I never thought in a million years I’d be able to play above the medium level.  I have 16 out of 40 songs complete at hard now and had Adam say “Whoa!” when he watched me fly through a couple runs.  To say I’m addicted to the game would be a serious understatement.  For example, our electricity went out while I was playing last night.  Multiple profanities came flying out of my mouth because I was playing Who Was in My Room Last Night (one of my favs) and having fun laughing at myself then BAM! No electricity about a minute into it.
