I’m actually having little tummy flips knowing tomorrow is my last day in my current job… almost to the point of nausea. BossMan is seriously getting on my nerves. I got to the point where I have to limit conversations with him to 5 minute increments because he keeps twisting my words around when I try to explain something to him - which is a BIG treat when he combines that with his usual talking in circles routine. Today after a meeting he asked me to turn in all of my stuff… because, you know, I can give him everything he’s asking for without a friggin’ laptop to work on. I actually had to remind him that I’m still in the office all day tomorrow & my last day isn’t technically until Friday.

Between dealing with his oddness going to a different level since I told him about the other job offer & the normal BS from WenchAcrossTheHall, I went to the “Whatever, I really don’t care” place and I’m finding it difficult to complete last minute things. This sucks because I never had an Eff-It attitude when I left a job before.

I finally got my blog fixed tonight. It was a pretty minor issue and I probably could have had it done on Thursday but I was pretty distracted since I got to Boyfriend’s Thursday night. One of BF’s molars broke & he’s been in some intense pain. The majority of my time since I got here was spent comforting him & finding ways to keep him busy so he wasn’t concentrating so hard on how much his mouth hurts. I’m so happy he’s able to get in to the dentist tomorrow morning & hopefully get it taken c It’s tough seeing him in so much pain.

We got a few more inches of snow down here today. My furbabies are having so much fun in it. Denzel looks like The Abominable Snow Doggie everytime he comes in. Freya thinks the fresh powder is the greatest thing since the invention of cheese. She races around the house as fast as she can, creating her own little snow flurries. And Reggie started a new thing this year… he flops on his back and squirms all over then when he’s done, he hops up & looks at the spot he rolled in. I really wonder if he’s trying to make a doggie version of a snow angel. It’s so cute.

So that’s about it for now, I guess. You’ll be seeing me updating more often since I signed up for Holidailies 2008. Hopefully I can keep myself motivated so I can finish it this year!

I transferred to a new host & broke my web site. Phooey. I’ll be back shortly.

The past couple weeks have been slightly interesting. I spoke with my manager shortly after I posted that I was offered the other position. He asked me not to leave and to take the weekend to think about it.  This was by far the hardest career decision that I ever made and it took me more than a week and a half to come to a final decision. I accepted the other job. I verbally informed my manager last week and I’m giving him my written notice today. Giving him my final answer was tough… I actually got choked up. heh.

So… you know what this means?? I’m moving. Again.
