Day 43, Arm Knit Infinity Scarf
I finished my first project of the week. This scarf was meant to be a Christmas gift, twice. I attempted it 2 holiday seasons in a row but both times it slipped off my arm so I got frustrated and shelved it. I decided I’d try it again and this time it went beautifully. This is seriously the best tutorial I’ve watched yet. It took just 1/2 hour to make this scarf. It’s not perfect but it’s not bad for my first completed attempt.
The first step of another project is complete as well. I blinged out the bases on a couple of wine glasses with glitter and will seal them tomorrow after they’re completely dry. They look so preeeeeetty. I have to wait on painting any of the glasses like I planned until tomorrow. I don’t have enamel paint and didn’t feel like going to the store once I got home. I could have used acrylic paint to do what I had planned but then I’d have to seal the paint so it didn’t chip off instead of just curing the paint in the oven. I’m not a fan of that whole process because that’s putting awful chemicals entirely too close to a person’s mouth since I’m painting the bowl on the glass itself… So, I’ll happily wait to do it the right way and increase my paint collection tomorrow.
