Week 1 in the books. Great start, Week 2!

P90X is flipping amazing. I can’t believe the difference between what I was able to do a week ago and what I was able to do tonight. For example, last week there was no way in heck I was going to attempt a Dive-Bomber Push-Up, I was guessing for at least a good month. Tonight I was able to do 2 reps of 5 (slightly modified, of course). My upper body strength is quite lacking so those suckers are really hard. However, when I attempted my first one I knew I that I gained just enough flexibility and strength to not have to worry about getting a rug burn on my forehead.

This might seem a little crazy but I really felt a shift on Wednesday during Yoga.  I can’t help but wonder if that was the difference.

I decided to take a rest day yesterday instead of doing X-Stretch. It really wasn’t much of a rest, though. D & I put the dock in at his parents house yesterday. Since he’s not able to do any lifting, there was a lot of me asking for instruction and lifting/pushing the dock using 2×2’s as levers. It was a lot of work! By the time we got home last night there was no way in heck I was going to be able to keep my body moving long enough to do any sort of extreme stretching.
