3 days down. 88 to go.
Since I’m totally not a morning person I’m doing P90X when I get home from work. I know I’m more likely to stick with it if I keep the schedule that I’m on. However, it would make life a lot easier if I could wake up that extra hour and a half early. I wouldn’t have to workout in an 80 degree Hut for one thing. But… I know I would struggle mightily with getting up at 5a so I’ll leave things where they’re at. It’ll take a bit of juggling to figure out what I have time for in the evenings and what I don’t.
With that said…
I went to Green Bay for an appointment last night and had dinner with my niece, Rachel. I originally planned on being home around 8-8:30. I didn’t get home until after 9 so I couldn’t start my workout until nearly 9:30. I didn’t get done until 10:45 and I was in bed around 11:30. Oh. my. goodness. Am I ever paying for it today. I wasn’t very sore when I woke up but I am now. Holy hell.
What’s kind of comical is that my thighs ache soooo bad and yesterday was shoulders & arms plus abs. Those rotten Crouching Cohen Curls did it. I know it. My legs were still a little achy from all of the jumping on Tuesday (oh, the jumping…) and I could really feel them burn when I was crouched down. I’ll definitely be using a chair or something for support if my legs feel like this next week.
Okay, a couple of positives because I know I’ve been whining a lot. Today is Yoga day. I’m really looking forward to that. I can’t wait for it, actually. I love yoga even though I’m totally not flexible enough for it yet. Also, my thighs are already a little less jiggly. Yay!
