Attitude Adjustment Project

This week marked one year since I started my Attitude Adjustment Project. It feels great to be in a much better place than I was a year ago. I still have issues with anger and let little things eat away at me but overall I’m not the negative, bitter person I turned into. The anger comes much less frequently and I can generally talk myself out of worrying.

It’s been nice. Really nice. I’m finding that for the first time probably ever I refuse to let my health take a back seat. I’m still very easily get distracted but I find my way back within a week instead of months. I’m more determined than ever not to feel so uncomfortable and self-conscious. I’ve been reminded many times over the past couple of months that it takes 21 days to form a habit. If I can only get past the bumps I stumbled on after about 14 days…
