… and I’m tired of hotels. I’m sure it doesn’t help much that I’m getting bored with training, too. Let me rephrase that. I like the training but I really can’t stand 2 of the people in the session… and there are only 5 of us. We’ve gone so far out of the scope of the training that when we get back on track I have a hard time paying attention to what the instructor is saying. If what they were talking about was something useful, it wouldn’t matter. I swear to god, I’m ready to stand up & bash one guy. He openly admits that he stole secrets from another company by “social engineering” & that other company went out of business AND he spies on his kids when they’re online* – I mean to the point where he installs keyloggers so he knows everything that they type. I agree that you have to monitor while your kids are online but there are other ways to go about it. If you don’t trust your kids to the extent that you have to spy on them, then either don’t allow them to go online unsupervised or don’t allow them online at all, dammit. I bet he’s the type of guy that reads his kid’s diaries, too. He was actually excited because he learned about a new keylogger that he could use. My god. I can go on and on about the crap he’s come up with but I won’t because I’m sure you’re sick of it already. Yes, the examples I used are within the scope of class but the family stuff I could really do without knowing.
So anyway. I’m going to go grab chinese take-out again tonight so I can come back and pack. I can’t wait to see Adam tomorrow & have a whole week of no work and no training. I’m so looking forward to it.
